Many first-time parents, or even those who have been parents before, question if they’re ready to parent a new child. It can be intimidating and a little scary. If you’re feeling this way, know you’re not alone! Many parents ask themselves questions like:
- Can I do this on my own?
- What if my partner doesn’t want the child?
- How will my parents react?
- How do I tell those closest to me if I’m scared?
- What about medical insurance?
Do any of these concerns sound familiar to you? These are all valid questions, but we want you to know we’re here to help you answer each one and find the path forward. Your circumstances do not define you, and we will help ensure you thrive at being a parent.
What We Offer
We offer information, resources, and support to assist you in your role as a parent. We’re here to answer questions, provide guidance, and help you get the answers and assistance you need to make parenting not only possible but enjoyable.
Sit down peer-to-peer to get helpful tips, ask questions, gain understanding, and find the resources you need. Please make an appointment where we can offer more insight into parenthood and how to feel prepared and confident in this new adventure. You can do this; we can help!
Our Parenting Resources
We offer a mentor program for first time moms and dads. This program provides support and resources for infant necessities. Parent mentors for moms and dads.
We offer parenting classes for parents of children 2 and under. This program is provided virtually as well as in-person meetings. Courses are customized for each family situation.
